Listen to a live steel band at the Port of Spain or take in the lush natural beauty of the island like the lush forested canopy of the northern mountain range. This mountain ranged descends down to an equally breathtaking Maracas Bay. Trinidad is home of carnival and you’ll be pressed to find a more livelier place.

Tobago is akin to heaven for those who love the beauty of nature. The waters around this island are full of turtles, sharks, many tropical fish species and rays. On the island is also the Tobago Forest Reserve which is said to be the oldest protected forests in the Western World.

Antigua is home to Sir Vivian (”Viv”) Richards, a player and captain of the West Indies cricket team. Martinique is home to the infamous Mount Pelee volcano. The ash from this volcano has created the beautiful gray and black sand beaches to the north of this island, which are much different from the white sands of the south in Les Salines. This island has many beautiful mountains and lush forests. Culturally, Martinique blends French and Caribbean influences.

Unspoiled beauty is the first thing that will come to mind when you first get a look at the island, Dominica. This is why the island is nicknamed “Nature Isle of the Caribbean”. The island is full of animal and bird species, numerous rare plants, lush rainforests and spectacular mountains.
