Mexico to Receive the Biggest Cruise Ship Ever

December 31, 2009

The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has constructed the largest cruise ship ever aptly named the Oasis of the Seas and it is headed for port in Mexico. To be specific, the resort community of Cozumel will be the destination in which this traveling city will dock. The Oasis of the Seas is an absolute stunning display of oceanic architecture and even if you are someone who will never hitch a ride it is well worth the opportunity to view it in person and take in the majestic beauty. To put the size in perspective there are actually seven “neighborhoods” which make up the ship. Sixteen decks and a maximum sleeping capacity for 5400 customers make this ship not only larger than most land resorts but also more populated than many small villages and towns. Several attractions that are simply amazing to have on board a ship are a zip line, an open air amphitheater, and a carousel. There is something for everyone on board and Royal Caribbean is truly hoping that with word of mouth and people actually laying eyes on this floating spectacle that it will continue to receive a high demand for occupancy. If you are in this neck of the woods when the Oasis of the Seas will be making port make an effort to get out and take in one of the most wonderous man made creations ever.
